Proving to be more elegant, smarter, faster and more advanced than the first generation, the second generation Panamera, known as the Panamera 971 or Panamera 4/4S, was introduced at a special event in Berlin in June 2016 and is still in production today.
Introduced on the new generation Panamera were the new 20 inch and 21 inch wheels which intensified the driving experience and contributed towards the outstanding praise the Panamera 971 received for its driving dynamics and handling. Utilising four-corner adaptive air suspension, the Panamera provides such a smooth and comfortable ride it actually feels like a proper Porsche sports car.
Assisting with the feel of a real sports car the original Panamera 4 was powered by a turbocharged 3.0 litre V6 engine producing 330 hp while the 4S introduced a twin-turbo 2.9 litre V6 which increased horsepower to 440 hp.
The Panamera 4 can make 0-60 mph in 4.7 seconds and can reach a top speed of 164 mph. The considerably quicker 4S rips to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds, over a second quicker than the 4, and has a top speed of 180 mph.
