The PCCM is the Porsche Classic Communication Management system, the powerful and versatile infotainment system that comes as standard in all new Porsche models.

Over the years the PCCM has gone through several upgrades and changes and we are seeing Porsche owners today installing new compatible PCCMs into their older models which means the vintage and classic Porsches of the 80s & 90s can now enjoy increased connectivity and up-to-date Satellite Navigation.

Installing PCCM Units

It’s recommended when installing PCCM systems into your Porsche that you get professionals to do it at any official Porsche Centre. However, there are plenty of independent specialists around who will also do the job for you plus forums and online guides to fit them yourself if you can’t wait!

It is worth noting that when upgrading to a new PCCM in your classic Porsche (pre-1997), the map material is not provided out of the box.
